Professor (Dr) Kamlesh P. Joshipura is among the most prominent leaders of higher education in Gujarat region. He held the chair of Vice Chancellor of two state universities of Gujarat for three terms. A graduate of Dr. Ambedkar Law College, University of Madras, he has practiced extensively before the Hon’ble NCLAT and Madras High Court. Formerly a partner at the esteemed Tax Law Firm SUBBARAYA AIYAR PADMANABHAN & RAMAMANI, he served as Additional Advocate General of Tamil Nadu for nearly eight years (2012–2021). Notable for his contributions to legal literature, he is the Specialist Editor of A. Ramaiya’s “The Guide to The Companies Act” and co-author of the book “Guide to Takeovers and Mergers.” Additionally, he is trained in mediation by Harvard Negotiation Institute and is an active member of the Mediation Committee at the Hon’ble Madras High Court.
