Dr. Justice Vineet Kothari, a distinguished legal luminary and former High Court Judge, has an illustrious career spanning decades. A resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, he holds multiple qualifications including CA, CS, Ph.D. (Taxation), LL.M., and more, and was designated a Senior Advocate by the Supreme Court in 2022. His legal expertise covers domestic and international taxation, corporate law, and property and family law, along with extensive work in arbitration and mediation at both domestic and international levels. He has served in esteemed roles across India, including at arbitration centers of the High Courts in Madras, Bombay, and Delhi, as well as international institutions in Singapore, Dubai, and Russia. Beyond his legal practice, Dr. Kothari has also been involved in advisory roles for KPMG India and MBG Dubai and has contributed significantly as a scholar, writing papers on international taxation and serving as a member and Honorary Director of the International Association of Tax Judges.
Justice Kothari’s judicial career is equally remarkable, with service in the Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madras, and Gujarat High Courts, including periods as Acting Chief Justice in Madras and Gujarat. Dr. T.K. Viswanathan, a distinguished legal expert, has made significant contributions to India’s legal landscape through his work in academia, government, and legislative drafting. Over his four-decade career, he held esteemed positions such as Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Law & Justice and Secretary General of the Lok Sabha. His expertise in drafting landmark legislations like the Information Technology Act 2000, Competition Act 2002, Right to Information Act 2005, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 has profoundly shaped Indian jurisprudence. Professor (Dr) Kamlesh P. Joshipura is among the most prominent leaders of higher education in Gujarat region. He held the chair of Vice Chancellor of two state universities of Gujarat for three terms. As the Vice Chancellor of two different universities, Prof. Joshipura played a dynamic role in streamlining the administration, reinvigorating and restructuring the academic culture and bringing about transparency and accountability into the system. Prof. Joshipura had the privilege of steering multiple high-powered committees in various institutions and organizations of National and State Level as a Chairman as well as a Member. He has been a member of the Search Committee for the selection of Vice Chancellors in 14 universities of national repute. P.H. Arvindh Pandian is a distinguished Indian lawyer with over 29 years of experience, specializing in corporate law, Mergers & Acquisitions, insolvency and restructuring, and tax law. A graduate of Dr. Ambedkar Law College, University of Madras, he has practiced extensively before the Hon’ble NCLAT and Madras High Court. Formerly a partner at the esteemed Tax Law Firm SUBBARAYA AIYAR PADMANABHAN & RAMAMANI, he served as Additional Advocate General of Tamil Nadu for nearly eight years (2012–2021). Notable for his contributions to legal literature, he is the Specialist Editor of A. Ramaiya’s “The Guide to The Companies Act” and co-author of the book “Guide to Takeovers and Mergers.” Additionally, he is trained in mediation by Harvard Negotiation Institute and is an active member of the Mediation Committee at the Hon’ble Madras High Court.
Apart from his legal practice, Mr. Pandian has held prominent academic and advisory roles. He is a Faculty member at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and has served on various prestigious committees, including the Executive Council of Tamil Nadu National Law University and the Academic Senate of Dr. Ambedkar Law University. He has also been a Trustee of the Chennai International Centre and Director of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited. His leadership roles extend to being President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Revenue Bar Association.
